The San Antonio Children’s Museum is partnering with the American Institute of Architects and the West East Design Group to build a new annual holiday event for San Antonio. We are proud to announce the 1st Gingerbread Design Challenge. The Gingerbread Design Challenge provides top local architects with an opportunity to demonstrate their skills by designing and building one of the holiday season’s most lasting images: gingerbread houses. The Design Challenge, held “Iron Chef” style, will be on Saturday, November 14th from 11:00 am-2:00 pm at Ingram Park Mall.
The fun, action-packed competition will be hosted by an emcee and spectators will cast votes for the “People’s Choice” award for the most popular team and final product.
Completed houses will be on display in the museum beginning November 16 through December 31.
We are asking for your support of this event as a corporate sponsor. As a sponsor, you will help to build new programs in science, creative arts and early childhood education at the Children’s Museum. Your sponsorship will also provide a gift to underprivileged families during the holiday season by underwriting their admission to the museum. Enclosed in this packet is a sampling of what benefits your company will receive by becoming a corporate sponsor. We can also provide you with a customized marketing menu and action plan that aligns with your corporate interests and mission.
Please consider supporting this inaugural holiday event. If you should have any questions please feel free to contact Gretchen Garceau-Kragh, Development Director, at 210-212-4453 ext. 1319.
